Vancouver Chiropractor can relieve a child's growing pains

http://www.bridgechiropractic.com/ 360-574-5944  According to the pediatric community, a significant number of children are inflicted with growing pains. In rare cases, pain can become severe and symptoms such as swelling, fatigue, loss in weight and limping may arise.

Tackling Growing Pains with the Chiropractic Approach

On September 2006, Research update from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) reviewed a case study of a 3-year-old boy who underwent chiropractic care. The young boy was suffering from leg and lower back pain. In addition, he experienced headaches and bed wetting.

A chiropractic examination revealed the presence of subluxations and the boy was subsequently adjusted. After the first adjustment, the patient did not complain of leg pain for 3 days, and by the last visit, the child had, and remained symptom-free for almost 3 weeks. The author's conclusion of this study was, "This case report provides supporting evidence of the effectiveness of chiropractic care in children with growing pains."

If your child is suffering from growing pains, don’t hesitate to bring your child to any of our clinics for an examination.
